Located a stone's throw away from Nahoon Beach, Sand Castle B&B has a very relaxed beach feel defined by fresh whites and touches of stone sea shells. Enjoy a wholesome breakfast while gazing at the glittering blue ocean surrounded by lush green bush, while listening to the waves. A tranquil and simplistic establishment within walking distance of the beach and river.

East London is a safe and friendly town with lots of outdoor activities such as surfing, walking on the beach, paddling up the river or just enjoying the outdoors. It is ideal for people who enjoy the outdoors and sports.

We had an awesome time with kids and grandkids at Nahoon Beach. I can definitely recommend Sand Castle B&B. Very easy walking distance to the beach. Beach was clean and not crowded at all.

Only one single DSTV channel available in the room. Other B&B have their own decoder to pick and choose as they like. Something to think about for the future. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

We had a great stay at sand castle. They thought of everything you would need when you travel, from shower gel to adaptors to charge your phone. Can recommend this guest house and will stay there again.

Lovely setting with a view of the ocean, although not too close to the beach, but still a nice walk. Beautiful, crisp and clean décor. The reception was friendly and prompt. A home cooked breakfast was served, which was absolutely delicious. If we go to East London again, we will book at Sand Castle again.

Oyster Bed is a large ope- plan room with the shower and bath being part of the room. The bath is a Jacuzzi bath. It has a king-size bed and a private balcony which looks down over the pool. It is on the second floor so there are quite a few stairs to get to this room, so not idea for the elderly and guests with toddlers. It has a large air-conditioner and limited cupboard space. A nice room for a honeymoon couple or the night before or after your wedding.

Pansy Shell is our largest room with a high ceiling. It has a king-size bed or two singles. It on the ground level and looks out onto the pool but also has a view of the sea. It has a large bathroom with a shower and bath; no Jacuzzi bath. It has a ceiling fan and wall heaters. This room is ideal for families with small children as there is a smaller room with a queen-size bed. These two rooms have an interleading door and share the bathroom. Also good for travellers that will be staying for a long length of time as there is ample cupboard space.
