False Bay Gem - I was drawn to this home while browsing for a place to stay while in my office on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. I was not disappointed and enjoyed my five-night stay, which begun with a 00:30 arrival (thanks KLM). I was none the less graciously received. I was born in Cape Town, but now live in France and I chose Muizenberg because I had business to do in Cape Town. I wanted to be close to the beach and I love the walk along the coast to Kalk Bay and exploring the lovely coastline to Simonstown. I arrived to a light mist and the sound of the sea from my room - magic! The room and my hosts were perfect. Thanks to them and the great service of SafariNow.

Peachy eco-green pleasure - Back to the future, and it's green... With a warm welcome from the Yarrow family, our overnight experience did not tick the usual boring B&B boxes: cream and beige interior, fake art, uniformity. We stayed cosily in an earth walled room with curved timber ceiling, lilac velvet/corduroy curtains and sea grass flooring. A super hot shower from the solar geyser and gorgeous organic bath products (which complement the gray water system) washed away fatigue after a long drive. Wind and wave sounds crooning around the hand moulded walls all added to the textural experience. A delicious health breakfast (room service) set us off on our return journey. If you're planning a stay over in Muizenberg, consider making Carey And Simric your caring hosts, and Samhitakasha your future stop!
