Facilities

Roydon Private Nature Reserve situated in Queenstown Eastern Cape. 3 Star Graded Lodge also Highly Recommended by AA Travel, Conference & Adventure Centre. Self Catering facilities available.

Lodge has large en-suite fully serviced bedrooms, Licenced Pub, Dining Facilities offering Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch Menus, Swimming pool, Horse riding, game viewing either on horseback or open Landcruisers, Hiking and exploring, swimming in the mountain rock pools. A great place with great facilities, a great setting, great Farmstyle kitchen cooking and great hosts. The kind of place you recommend to others.

Featured on Kyknet DSTV also on Radio Algoa and Nominated for Conservationist of the year award.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roydon. The staff are very helpful with great service as well as food. We saw some nice game including giraffe.

We really enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. The venue is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were small and compact, but well decorated. I was not aware we could do self catering, which is something to know for future. I enjoyed my early morning walk and bumping into the giraffe! They were really calm and I didn't feel threatened at all. My daughter loved the horses, and enjoyed spending time with them.

Perfect for what we wanted - a place to stay close to Queenstown, but away from the city centre. Staying in a hunters cabin meant we didn't even have to pitch our tent -double bunk was perfect.

Very comfortable cottage, well appointed. The host, Lourens, very helpful and accommodating. Quiet and peaceful reserve. Would definitely stay again.

Very enjoyable. Booked here as I thought that as a private reserve they would have a few 4x4 trails that we could use for game viewing. Not so, although they did give us a short drive in their game vehicle.
