A quaint little hotel in a very quaint part of Cape Town. Friendly staff, beautiful views, great breakfasts. Central to most attractions in Cape Town, yet removed enough to not feel hemmed in by the city.

Kind staff. We just come back to Belgium after a fantastic three week trip in South Africa. Wonderful was our stay in Capetown in the bo-kaap with Ursula and Michel at Rouge on Rose. Everything was perfect. Spacious clean rooms, very helpful and kind staff, good meals and breakfasts. I can't imagine a better place to stay, and I recommansd Rouge on Rose to all my friends in Belgium. We will definitely come back.

This is such a lovely little hotel! The people are fabulous, the rooms are fabulous, the food is fabulous. The breakfast portions are huge and so specially presented! Future guests should just note that it is in a busy area, so not really recommended if you want some 'quiet' time. But the location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, etc. A real 'gem' in the Bo Kaap.
