The Rose of the Bo-Kaap,19 June 2008
We will definitely stay at Rose Lodge again. It was a warm and friendly place, a real home away from home. The rooms were cosy and comfortable and wonderfully clean. Our host, Bruce, was most hospitable and accommodated us in every aspect, suggesting lovely eateries in the area and arranging taxi's for us as well as airport transfers. We will take away nothing but good memories of our stay at this quaint establishment.

Description
Rose Lodge is located in the colorful historic Malay Quarter of Cape Town (Bo-Kaap). It is only a 5 minute walk to the downtown area and the fashionable and trendy De Waterkant Village, and a short walking distance to Cape Town International Convention Centre, and the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Each room has a shower and toilet, TV, WIFI, safe, fan, and floor heating. Coffee & tea facilities are available and a substantial continental breakfast is served. We provide laundry service if required, arrange your transfers and provide free internet access. We are a non-smoking guesthouse and dog friendly.
We have been mentioned in The Lonely Planet, Cape Town Edition 2006.

Inside a grey-painted corner house in the Bo-Kaap is this cute B&B. The Canadian owner likes to play the piano and has two adorable dogs. There are just three cosy rooms (with private bathrooms) all decorated in contemporary style.
