Description

Rose Lodge, Orange on Rose, 22 on Rose, and Wale Lodge are located in Rose and Wale Street in the colorful historic Malay Quarter of Cape Town (Bo-Kaap). It's only a 5 minute walk to the downtown area and the fashionable and trendy De Waterkant Village, and a short walking distance to the Cape Town International Convention Centre and the popular Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

All rooms are en-suite with shower and toilet, TV, free WIFI, safe, fan or air-conditioning, heating, and coffee and tea facilities. We provide a laundry service if required and can arrange your transfers. We are non-smoking guesthouses and are dog friendly.

English, German, and French are spoken.

This beautifully restored Cape Malay house is located in a brilliant spot in Cape Town, close enough to the hustle and bustle to be in a good proximity (in many cases, a walking distance) to places of interest but out of the way enough to allow for a good night’s sleep.The rooms were clean, nicely designed to make the most of the space and very comfortable with an endearingly homely feel. The location of this place is hard to beat. proximity to several nice areas of ct, safe and very picturesque. the place is efficiently run by bruce and his team. bruce is also very knowledgeable regarding restaurants and events in the area.

We only stayed for 1 night, but it was fantastic to be able to walk to bars and restaurants and shops in the City Centre, just 5 mins away! Bruce (and dogs) was a charming host and the room and breakfast are extraordinary value for money! well done Bruce!
