Rose Cottage is a wonderful self-catering unit that is fully furnished and equipped for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Hogsback. The cottage is complete with a tranquil garden and a sparkling swimming pool. The unit is serviced daily so you can simply relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the area.

The unit comprises two bedrooms fitted with a double and twin beds respectively. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the lounge area comes with very comfortable sofas, a cosy Jetmaster fireplace and a TV; please bring your smartcard for DStv access. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes everything you will need for effective self-catering. Braai facilities are provided.

We had a wonderful stay, would like to go again someday!

Cheap and cheerful probably sums this one up. We stayed for just short of a week and found everything comfortable enough. However the mattresses are not fantastic. It would have been good to have been able to swim in the pool which remained green for our stay despite the efforts of the owner. The garden is lovely and there is a friendly dog.

Although the cottage has great potential, nice location, good furniture, linen, lovely garden and swimming pool, there is an overall feeling of neglect. The cottage was not very clean, the lounge suite was damp, as covers had obviously just been washed and put back still damp, so we could not sit on the suite at all. A good coat of paint would do much to improve the general appearance.
