Very special holiday,08 August 2006
We had a wonderful few days at Rorke's Drift Lodge. Lodge is simply furnished, has a wonderful view of Isandlwana and Zululand valleys. Food was good and different. We enjoyed Paul's guiding and his humour. Christine and Paul run a tight ship.

Fantastic,04 May 2006
Our stay at Rorke's Drift was absolutely fantastic!
I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely go there again!
Paul and Christine are very hospitable and run an excellent lodge with a home feeling!
Definitely value for money!
Only bad side is the road leading to the lodge (although we were warned about it)

NB: The road up to Rorkes Drift Lodge is 5km's long and must be negotiated at 20km/h. Standard hire cars are able to negotiate this road without damage but after rain the road can become quite wet so guests are advised to call the Lodge on the morning of arrival to check road conditions in general.

We recommend that guests travelling to us hire Nissan X-Trails if they are anxious about negotiating the road.
