Roosje van de Kaap Guest House and Restaurant is a beautiful and historic establishment situated at the top of Swellendam's main road. The guest house offers 13 well-appointed rooms.

The lush indigenous garden and large grass field enjoy vistas of the imposing Langeberg Mountains and affords privacy to the rooms. Three standard rooms are situated around a sparkling pool, which offers guests a cool relief on a sunny day. From the pool court a small stairway leads to the garden and the six beautiful garden rooms.

The terrace in front of our restaurant overlooks the Drostdy Estate where a flock of geese graze underneath century-old Oak trees. In front of the main building two private home rooms are located and the honeymoon room is situated upstairs with a private terrace overlooking the Langeberg Mountains.

The award winning restaurant offers an electric menu with a variety of cooking disciplines, from Cape Malay fare to classic French reductions.
