Mabel & Ian, owners of Roosboom, are great hosts ... room & facilities were spotless, & we were welcomed on arrival as friends, not paying guests. This was, without doubt, the best value for money short-term accommodation establishment we have ever stayed in, here in SA, as well as in other countries. The ability to self-cater is great, although we had the optional Roosboom-prepared breakfast (and a very good one at that) for the two days we stayed were at Roosboom.
