Description

Rocky Pool Guest Cottage is situated on the Durban Lower South Coast, with picturesque views and 1km walking distance to the nearest beach and shops. There are also two protected main beaches close by within 2 kilometres either side of the nearest beach, and the main shopping centers are within 2-3 kilometres. The main Arbor Crossing shopping centre and the mega new Centurion centre that will be opening in Dec this year which will have lots of shops, movie entertainment, restaurants, etc. This will be the biggest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere which is only about 9 kms away.

The cottage is a log style cottage that sleeps four comfortably. It has scenic views of the surrounding area and panoramic views of the ocean, not to mention the spectacular bird life we have here such as peacocks, yellow billed kite hawks, guinea foll and various other small birds including the proverbial hadeda. (So bring your binoculars). A large patio extends from the lounge over the crystal blue rock pool, set in a tropical garden setting and surrounded by lush vegetation. The cottage offers privacy and tranquility, with use of the entertainment area, bar area, braai facilities, pool, swings, and a trampoline for the kids. The pool has been installed with a warmer, not to make the pool "hot" but the take the "chill" off especially in the winter where you can swim just about all year round.

This cottage is styled in cottage style log furniture, a wood paneled interior, with TV and Hi-Fi facilities. The cottage has an open plan kitchen with a bar counter for the occasional sun downer, also equipped with appliances, stove, microwave, kitchen utensils, cutter, etc. The main bedroom has a double bed, with a semi- en suite bathroom, with separate doors from either the bedroom or the lounge. The bathroom has shower, basin and toilet. The cottage has secure parking for one vehicle. We are only 15 kms away from the Airport and offer airport transfers.

Please note: season bookings (such as Dec, Easter and long week-end) to be made in advance to avoid disappointment. All bed linen is provided, except towels. Guests to bring their own bath and beach towels. A R300 key/breakage deposit will be required on arrival and refundable after departure. Cancellations on bookings or date changes may be subject to a fee in relation to the booking deposit paid. Prices start from R99 per person sharing. Please enquire for an accurate and personal quote.
