We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 30th Anniversary at Riverwalk B & B. The Rooms was beautifully appointed with fantastic touches like the sherry, fresh flowers and delicious rusks and biscuits.
The breakfasts were presented so attractively and it was really lovely to be so spoilt on both mornings we were there.
We would most certainly go back and will highly recommend this establishment to others.

You are woken by the call of the guinea fowl in the morning and the smell of freshly brewed coffee, although 5 minutes walk away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Clarens and the finest of art galleries in the country
Five of the seven rooms open onto a veranda from a private entrance, entrance to the other two rooms are through the public area’s.
We offer luxury to the corporate or leisure traveler from our linens to hospitality trays (which include tea, coffee, homemade biscuits and rusks, mineral water, a decanter of sherry and homemade truffles.
All rooms are equipped with under floor heating and or wall heaters for the chilly nights of the Free State and our large bathrooms is a trademark.
The dining room is situated on the second level with French doors leading onto a verandah with vista’s of mountains, poplars and willows.
A delectable breakfast is served to our guest from croissants to smoked salmon omelettes and Eggs Benedict to frothy Capuccino.
A Buffet is served on weekends for Breakfast and do not be surprised to find Smoked Ostrich Carpaccio or a selection of fine cheese with preserved figs or watermelon preserve We will prepare dinner with the greatest of pleasure, should you not wish to taste the culinary delights of Clarens.
The verandah is the ideal spot for a sundowner or an informal braai, either done by yourself or we will prepare it for you in the traditional Free State way.
We have 7 luxurious bedrooms, en-suite with corner angular baths and overhead showers (no shower in room 5 and room 6 has only a shower), all rooms have television sets with all SABC channels, ETV and MNet. The finest percale linens are used for bedding and all beds have electric blankets.
We have just completed our boardroom, seating 8 delegates, the boardroom overlook it’s own private garden, which is the ideal setting for finger lunches and refreshment breaks.
We will design a menu to suit your delegates and audiovisual equipment can be arranged on request.
Clarens offer an array of activities from white river rafting, horse riding, abseiling, fly fishing and art lessons. Any of these can be arrange trough us or the local agents.
Come let we pamper you for a weekend or just laze for a few days during the week.
