Description

River Running is a small farm offering accommodation in a three-bedroom stone cottage, ideal for a family or group of friends. The cottage has ample space and offers a quite retreat amongst the trees of Hogsback in the Eastern Cape. The unit is fully self-catering and features a large lounge area with a fireplace, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. All bedding and firewood for the fireplace and barbecue is supplied.

Hogsback is named after three mountain peaks, which look something like the wild hogs that frequent the forest, and trails through the forest are marked with hogs of different colours to denote various walks. The area is mystical and is legend to have inspired J.R.R Tolkein to write his Lord of the Rings trilogy.
