River Rabbit B&B and Restaurant

Maureen was waiting for us and showed us the room, she was an intelligent, well educated person. Chris was in Cape Town at his daughters wedding. Well I must say it was an eye opener, the restaurant, which I think would have been in the kitchen was closed, of course we helped ourselves to breakfast. Maureen did say that everything was antique, very much so certainly what we expected, there were holes in the ceiling and the shower quite laughable. When have you been to see the place, we certainly wont be going back. The bed was clean and comfortable.

We had a very comfortable stay in this wonderful, old Karoo house. Pity we were pushed for time. Hope to be back to explore the town. Thank you, Chris.

We should have taken heed of previous review. The only positive thing was nice clean linen. Back parking area untidy, bed in the room was terrible (Chris needs to sleep in it for a night),it makes the most awful noise when one moves & the breakfast was not worth the money paid. 3 different cereals & 2 small tubs yoghurt put out night before (not in fridge).that was his continental breakfast!

It was not what we expected. We left after 40 min – cannot believe I had to pay R500. What a shame.

We really enjoyed our short stay at River Rabbit B&B! Chris Shelton ensures that you receive that "personal touch". Will return on our next trip through Richmond.
