Take a brisk 800 m walk to miles and miles of pristine beaches, which are ideal also for sand boarding, surfing and fishing, or spend your day on Port Alfred’s Blue Flag beach with all amenities and safety for family fun just 3 kms from Riders Rest. Bird watching, horse riding, hiking trails, game drives, golf, tennis, water skiing and squash are all available within a 15 km radius of Riders Rest. We can also assist in organising excursions up the Kowie River, with barbecue packs and picnic baskets available on request.
