The place was awesome, except that the beds did cover couples but it was a good experience staying there. Excellent welcome by the host.
Stil, rustig, skoon en gerieflik. Gasheer en gasvrou - Neels en Mariaan gaan uit hul pad uit om jou oorbly so lekker as moontlik te maak.
Firstly let me say that I have stayed in a number of dorms in my life, and yes this was just that, a dormitory. On my trip from Cape Town to Durban I decided to overnight at Ribblesdale Guest Farm, What a great decision on my part, I was well received into a very nice and clean place with excellent and comfortable bunk beds, bedding the whole complex was neat. I was alone in the place that could easily house quite a few people. If ever you need a CHEAP place to sleep over or spend a few days I would highly recommend that you book in at Ribblesdale Guest Farm. There are good kitchen facilities and the showers and other ablution facilities are very clean and a pleasure to use. Just one last thing if you coming from Cape Town’s side don’t follow the GPS, don’t take the first turnoff as indicated, you will end up on a 1 km gravel road, take the second turn off from the N1 at the garage and double back.
Clean and tidy. Beautiful setting and surroundings.
Nice large facilities great for youth groups and church camps.
