The Rhodes Hotel have been catering for guests since 1899. It offers a lovely glimpse into the area's colourful past.

Especially on a cold winter evening (even a snowless one) next to the fireplace at the bar on a couple of drinks, watching cricket and quietey arguing with your fellow guest, which part of South Africa this big Sable antelope, whose head is hanging on the wall, came. And then, there is the hearty dinner and the big cosy bed with the warm electric blanket! And the real ski-slopes are just a day-trip away! So why pay for the expensive resort accommodation, while you can stay in this Vi ... more

The Hotel is really nice and have a very kind staff. There is peace and quiet. The food is home cooking and is very good. Is situated in a beautiful and fabled little town in the heart of wonderful highest mountains.

New owners who are very friendly. Loved the 'old world' feel of the hotel and the whole town. Enjoyed every minute of our two day stay.
