Resting Buddies

Resting Buddies is a cosy, township-themed guest house infused with bright African décor. With a choice of five rooms, the Main House features one room furnished with two single beds and another furnished with a queen-size bed. Each room is also equipped with a TV and a bar fridge, and the two rooms share a full bathroom at the back of the house near the kitchen.

Guests can also choose to stay in one of the two En-suite Rooms, each furnished with a double bed, as well as a TV and a bar fridge. A modern kitchen is available for guests' use and the lounge is equipped with a TV. The Wendy House is built on top of the Shack and is comfortably furnished with a double bed and has a private bathroom consisting of a shower only. The Wendy House also enjoys a view of Table Mountain.

Tea and coffee facilities are provided in all rooms and parking is available for five cars behind remote controlled gates; security is very tight and safe. A braai area and a gas braai stove are provided for self-catering, with a laundry service and Internet facilities available at an additional charge. Resting Buddies is also partly wheelchair friendly.

African dishes and cuisine as well as regular meals are provided on request and when the weather is good, meals can be served on the paved courtyard under umbrellas under the open sky. For special occasions, the tunnel carport can accommodate up to 60 seated people.

Gugulethu Square is within a five to eight minute walk, Cape Town International Airport is within eight to t0 minutes' drive and the city centre is within a 20-minute drive. Situated in the inner edge of the Guguletu Township, Resting Buddies offers the ultimate in comfortable, secure, yet culturally enlightening accommodation for those visiting or touring the wonderful Cape Town.
