Description

Reed Cottage is a stylish and well appointed self-catering apartment located close to the Klein River and the village centre in Stanford. It sleeps four guests in two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single beds.

The unit also offers a bathroom with shower, and the sunshine chic living area has a fully-equipped kitchen, TV with the full range of satellite channels, and a mini Hi-Fi. All rooms feature heating options and fans and the apartment has its own parking and entrance. In addition, there is a verandah set in a small garden and barbecue facilities.

Only minutes away are the blue waters of Walker Bay offering some of the world’s best whale watching and shark diving opportunities. Try our locally brewed beers, visit nearby vineyards, or sample the local cheeses.

Our Little family had a very relaxing stay at Reed Cottage at Stanford. The cottage is private and tastefully decorated with all the mod cons of a home away from home. The outdoor veranda and garden were well used by us all and it was within short walking distance of the river. Thank you to Anne and her husband. We would highly recommend Reed Cottage and would love to return.

We spent nine days in Reed Cottage in February of 2011. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and conveniently located for the village centre and river. Our hosts were welcoming, with the perfect balance between giving privacy, yet being warm and helpful.
