Description

Purple Palms Backpackers is a self-catering establishment situated 12.8 km from the O.R Thambo International Airport. We offer an array of accommodation options, catering for both the domestic and international traveller, from dormitories to private double and twin rooms.

There is a fully equipped kitchen available to all guests, as well as a fully stocked bar on the premises. Free Wi-Fi and ADSL Internet access are available in our recreational area. Guests can enjoy a game of pool, listening to music, reading a book or taking a dip in the clear swimming pool.

There is a pub across the road for those intrepid explorers who favour a local chat and a beer. Shops are only 200 m away and a shopping mall is 1 km away. We offer transport to and from places of interest for a small fee. The area is safe to walk about.

Our friendly staff, with vast experience in the travel and tourism industry, will assist you with any issues concerning day and safari tours to attractions.

We are situated in a secure environment and there is enough secure parking space for your vehicle.

I would advise anyone to book this place when going for holiday or on business and I will book a room again if and when I am back in Gauteng.

The staff and people who were at Purple Palms are all super chill people. Very friendly and amiable. Great place to stay with very helpful staff and free wi-fi to boot!
