Set on the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains near Mossel Bay an George in a Malaria Free area in South Africa's Garden Route, Botlierskop Private Game Reserve ensures a truly unique safari experience.

Our 15 luxury air-conditioned tented suite at Botlierskop is elegantly decorated in a romantic colonial theme with four-poster beds draped with mosquito nets. The en-suite bathrooms are lavishly equipped with deep baths, outdoor showers and have stunning views. Activities to enjoy is elephant back rides, 4x4 game viewing, bush walks, picnics with the elephants, horseback safari's, helicopter charter flights and spa treatments.

All inclusive rates: accommodation, snacks and drinks on arrival, tea with the elephants, dinner, breakfast and two game drives. Half board rates also available.

We spent 1 night at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve and wished we had stayed for at least 2 nights. The setting is stunning, our luxury tented suite offered privacy and wonderful views over the valley. We felt as though we had stepped onto a film set - huge draped bed, enormous deep bath and open-air shower, this together with fabulous decor, linen, our own deck with loungers made for a relaxing African experience. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Stuart met us where we parked the car arranged for our luggage to be taken to our luxury tent. We had tea with the elephants not long after. We wanted a taster for a safari we only stayed one night. My partner left a lot of cash hanging out of her pocket on bed in a hurry. Excellent, unique experience. Tents are great. My wife would even consider camping if this was the norm. Service was first class. Game wardens were very helpful. Game reserve far exceeded our expectations. WE had been warned that "Private Game reserves were large safari parks. In Boltierskop's case this is not so. We were entranced by coming across giraffes eating in the trees and water buffalo appearing to want to charge the truck. Running impala and mad wildebeests set off the whole ... more
