The Protea Hotel Cumberland is located in the charming Boland town of Worcester, in the heart of the Breede River Valley.

Accommodation ranges from from standard to deluxe, all fully air-conditioned, or you could spoil yourself and enjoy the luxury of the Presidential Suite.

Wining and dining at the hotel is traditional, homestyle and elegant. Other restaurants in town offer various menus should you wish to dine away from the hotel.

There is a leisure centre at the hotel, with a fully-equipped gym, pool, spa, sauna and steam bath, tennis court and a glass-backed squash court.

The Gallery Restaurant, situated around the pool, has a self-service breakfast, a la Carte lunch and buffet dinner in the evenings. Buffet menus change on a daily basis. The Cabernet Cocktail Bar or Kramer Public Bar are ideal for friendly sundowners or cocktails.

Sporting Facilities: The hotel`s modern Leisure Centre consists of a fully equipped gym and squash court, with tennis also onsite. After a workout, the relaxing spa or steam bath and swimming pool will help restore lost energy and soothe aching muscles.

The Protea Hotel Cumberland`s modern function rooms make it THE place for conferences, seminars, banquets, even cocktail and dinner parties.

Cabernet I and II can each cater for 150 GUESTS, but can also be combined to accommodate 300 people.

The smaller rooms, Pinotage I and II, can each cater for 40 people, and the Shiraz room for 50.

When all the function rooms are combined, together with the Gallery Coffee Shop, a function for up to 350 GUESTS can be held.
