Pride Rock Lodge is situated in Vanderkloof, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. Vanderkloof was founded in 1967 when the PK le Roux dam was build, now known as the Vanderkloof dam. The Vanderkloof dam is the second largest dam in SA and has the highest dam wall in SA at 108m. Our lodge consists of 28 rooms, all en-suite. We offer excellent conference facilities as well as a restaurant that can cater for up to 150 people. We have a licensed bar, pool table, lounge with a TV, swimming pool, price winning garden and breathtaking view over the Vanderkloof dam. Vanderkloof is arguably the town with the lowest crime rate in South Africa and has been described as "real oasis in the Karoo".

Great but fleeting visit

We stayed on the South Coast of South Africa for one night. We had a fantastic reception and were delighted with the accommodation and the meals. Although it is a long way from where we live in Namibia, we hope to stay there again at some point, and will also recommend it to friends.
