Port Alfred is known fondly as the ‘heart of the sunshine coast’ and lies on Route 72 from Port Elizabeth and East London. Port Alfred boasts a wonderful temperate climate, never too hot or cold, with rainfall in the spring and autumn months.
The house has three bedrooms; the main bedroom has a king-size bed; the second bedroom has a double bed; and the children’s bedroom has two bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, an open-plan living room with a TV with DStv, a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen area. There is also a scullery with a washing machine, and there is a pool table for entertainment. The house has beautiful views of the rolling inland hills and the Kowie River. The house also has a spacious front and back garden with a small swimming pool, a tree house and braai facilities.
The town of Port Alfred is now much sought after and it attracts holidaymakers to its shores - not least because of its wonderful swimming beaches. Much like Jeffreys Bay, you can collect shells on the beaches with over 1800 different types which have been seen. Water sport abounds here and you can swim, surf, boat, waterski and scuba dive when you’re not fishing.
