Located in a gentle and secluded mountainside cul-de-sac suburb Poplar Tree Lodge offers four fully equipped, luxurious self-catering suites sleeping two and four people and boasts wonderful views of the Hout Bay valley. Each suite is fully equipped and has a full bathroom. The Lodge has a communal shady patio, plunge pool and new sun deck that holds the sun until the evening.

Situated in the charming village of Hout Bay, the lodge is just 5 minutes’ drive from the shops and restaurants and a minute more to the beach and a busy fishing harbor; as well as being ideally located to explore the Cape Peninsula via Chapman's Peak Drive. Go wine tasting or experience the world-class restaurants and cosmopolitan night life of Camps Bay and Cape Town city bowl.

Each major suite contains a microwave, oven and fridge/freezer, satellite TV, a DVD/CD player, a safe, cutlery, crockery and kitchenware, an iron, ironing board and hairdryer, linen and towels. The suites are serviced daily, except Sundays and public holidays and there is secure site parking. The atmosphere at the Lodge is peaceful and relaxed. Poplar Tree Lodge is also now offering a continental breakfast as an optional extra to be served on the patio weather permitting or in the guest's suite.

Outstanding Views: The Lodge has lovely views over the valley and to the mountains around. Because we are located on the nicer side of the bay, we enjoy the afternoon sun and often see spectacular, colourful sunsets.

Luxury Suite has a king-size or twin beds in the bedroom, bathroom with bath and separate shower, large living area with single day bed, and double sleeper couch. The suite has satellite TV, DVD/CD and fully equipped kitchenette plus dining table and chairs. Opens onto its own verandah with garden furniture, barbecue and onto a gated garden. There are great views across the valley to the sand dunes of Sandy Bay and to mountains from the verandah. Sleeps up to four guests and has its own entrance within the secure property.

What a lovely 4 nights, place was so nice and you feel so at home when you arrive, the host Vivienne was just amazing. The place have secure parking, we stayed in the studio room with ensuite and had more facilities that we expected. We will return when we go back to Cape Town, the home was easy to find and it’s in a lovely area. We would recommend anyone to go and stay at Poplar Tree Lodge.
