Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve, incorporating Rhino Base Camp, is a private game reserve, comprising of 1300ha of indigenous beauty, 15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route. The farm is home to over 35 species of game, including rhino, lion, giraffe, hippo, buffalo and a large variety of antelope, which can be viewed from the safety of a safari vehicle or, for the more daring, on horseback.

The baroness lodge is unique and luxurious, consisting of 7 spacious en-suite double bedrooms with king size beds and 1 family suite, consisting of 2 spacious bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have their own fireplaces and all have old style baths. There is a plunge pool and an open dining area with stunning views. The lodge offers a comfortable living area with fireplace and a games room with full snooker table. Meals are prepared in a large kitchen open to the dining room, which boasts a fireplace and a pizza oven or, weather permitting, in the open dining boma. The house overlooks a dam and lush garden and has a plunge pool with a view over these.
