Platinum Towers 504 is a penthouse suite with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower and toilet, and a separate second bathroom is shared by guests. The penthouse also comprises a lounge with DStv, a dining room, and a fully fitted kitchen. Décor incorporates an African flavour with stainless steel appliances and suede and leather finishes.

The establishment has 24 security with undercover parking and boasts views of the North Coast from the balcony. Situated in Umhlanga, opposite the Gateway Theatre of Shopping, the location allows for easy access to restaurants and entertainment facilities, ranging from rock climbing, bungee jumping, skateboarding and wave surfing to movie houses and musical theatre.

Unpleasant stay at Platinum Towers 504

The stay was not pleasant and we were not made to feel welcome at all. There was no tissue, no bath soap in the two bath rooms and no dish soap provided in the unit. There was no cleaning service available--ie nobody came to clean the flat while we were there. The only time anyone came to do any cleaning was on the day of our departure. The attitude of the landlady was very unhospitable and unwelcoming. She was very concerned about her towels, cutlery (plastic) and cups not being brok ... more
