Description

Situated in a magnificent secret valley on the slopes of the Slanghoek mountains, we offer three private and secluded self-catering wooden cabins overlooking the dam.

Each log cabin features an open-plan kitchen and living area, two bedrooms with queen-size beds, and a loft area with two single beds. The cabins utilise gas, solar and battery power only, and no open fires are permitted. A gas barbecue is however provided on the verandah.

Come appreciate and enjoy the silence and tranquillity of the Slanghoek Valley. Please note that vehicles with a high clearance are required.

It was just perfect. Peaceful. The surrounding mountains were magical. The cottage was tastefully designed. We didn't want to leave and will definitely return.

We spent a lovely weekend in this tranquil setting. The view over the dam and up to the mountains, some snow capped, was stunning. The finishes in the cabin are of high quality, the furnishings very comfortable. Best of all, the three cottages are spaced far apart so one has privacy and peace. We'll probably be back next year for a weekend.
