Rustic - After a full day's travel on the dirt roads in the area and exposure to the unsophisticated homesteads around, we should have perhaps been more aware of what we had booked for. The farmstead is very rustic and basic and it took a little while to realise that we were far from the comforts often taken for granted. We learned the Peter had passed away the week before after a lengthy battle with cancer and Stella and Ernst were running the show. They were very friendly and because the accommodation included dinner (just as well as there's nothing else for miles around)as well as breakfast, the comfortable 'lounge' enabled friendly conversation among us and contributed to the stay being quite acceptable after all. This is a typical rural farm with generators and Gas and wholesome meals.

Unhappy - My colleagues was not happy. They had to share a bed because they booked our room to other guests.

Bad service - The setting is exceptional, but the establishment is no where near 5 stars! Maybe 1 star.
It was/is extremely unfortunate that Peter has been in CT since about June for chemo treatment. If we were enlightened, we would've looked for other lodgings. The friends who doubled for him, did their best, but they have no clue of what is expected of such an establishment.
