Description

In just a four-hour drive from Johannesburg, you can be in the rugged Lowveld relaxing in our splash pool and forgetting your worries. Set in Marloth Park, the house is regularly visited by warthog, impala, giraffe, zebra and many more wildlife.

Penny Lane is a well-equipped house which is ideal for family groups. The outside entertainment area has a large patio with a built-in braai and a splash pool. The lodge accommodates eight people comfortably.

We are ideally located for daily trips into the Kruger National Park as we are approximately 15 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate. These trips can be arranged for you at an extra cost. Marloth Park is a birdwatcher's paradise with over 300 species.

The house has four bedrooms with either double beds or queen-size beds. The Eagle Room is very spacious and it has a full en-suite bathroom and a viewing deck. There are two bedrooms downstairs, both with a queen-size bed. One room has an en-suite shower and a toilet. There is a separate guest bathroom downstairs. There is another bedroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as a top viewing deck on the upper level. There is an air-conditioned TV lounge in the upper loft area. The downstairs level has a fully equipped kitchen, a large patio, a built-in braai and a splash pool.

Peaceful. Very neat and clean. The outside lapa with swimming pool is awesome. It was really great when the Kudu came right up to the patio to greet us. Eliza and staff made us feel very welcome and were always on hand to answer any questions relating to the park and surrounding areas. Thanks Eliza for and awesome chilled weekend. We will definitely go back there.

Penny Lane was a wonderful place to stay. We loved the huge braai/deck area outside while watching the animals passing by. The bedrooms are also very spacious and comfortable. Elize and hosts were very attentive when we wanted to know something or when there were small hickups. I can really recommend Penny Lane to anyone who needs a nice relaxing breakaway.

Great house in a peaceful setting where bats came along for supper. Upon arrival we found a clean and tidy house, equiped with all that is needed to spend quality time in nature.
