Thoroughly enjoyed Penny Lane.,20 June 2008
Peaceful. Very neat and clean. The outside lapa with swimming pool is awesome. It was really great when the Kudu came right up to the patio to greet us. Eliza and staff made us feel very welcome and were always on hand to answer any questions relating to the park and surrounding areas. Thanks Eliza for and awesome chilled weekend. We will definitely go back there.

Loved the huge braai/deck area,07 January 2008
Penny Lane was a wonderful place to stay. We loved the huge braai/deck area outside while watching the animals passing by. The bedrooms are also very spacious and comfortable. Elize and hosts were very attentive when we wanted to know something or when there were small hickups. I can really recommend Penny Lane to anyone who needs a nice relaxing breakaway.

Description
In 4 hours you can be in the rugged lowveld relaxing in our splash pool forgetting your worries from the city. Set in Marloth Park the house is regularly visited by warthog, impala, giraffe, zebra and many more wildlife. Marloth park is the bird watchers paradise with over 300 species. Just approx 15 minutes from the crocodile bridge gate we are ideally located for daily trips into the Kruger National park. These can be arranged for you at an extra cost.
Penny lane is a well equipped house which is ideal for family groups. The outside entertainment area has a large patio area with built-in braai and splash pool.
The lodge accommodates eight people comfortably.

| The house has four bedrooms all with either double or queen beds. The Eagle room which is very spacious is situated upstairs and has a full en-suite bathroom, built-in cupboards and its own viewing deck. Downstairs are two bedrooms both with queen/double beds and fitted built-in wardrobes. One has an en-suite shower and toilet. There is a seperate guest bathroom downstairs. On the upper level is another bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as a top viewing deck.
On the upper loft area there is an airconditioned TV lounge, and also enough space for two single beds.
Downstairs there is a fully fitted kitchen with open plan dining area. Leading out onto the large patio/entertainment area is an eight seater table, built-in braai and splash pool. |
