This spacious sunny timber cabin is part of the rustic Barn Traveller's Lodge near the edge of our magical forest. It can be booked as one unit for a large group or booked as individual bedrooms sharing the facilities of kitchen, lounge etc. This Barn Cabin comprises three bedrooms with a double bunk alcove. There is a large kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, crockery, cutlery and two bathrooms with showers. A spacious open plan lounge, dining room area leads onto a covered veranda draped with bougainvillea and wisteria and has glorious sunset views over paddocks with our two friendly horses. This is the spot to kick back and relax with family, or to meet new friends as you sit and comprises three double/twin bedrooms with a double bunk alcove.

Meander along a pebble pathway through a copse of trees to these woodcutter cottages set alongside each, though one faces east, the other west. They have high pitch wood ceilings, warm eclectic decor, and overlook forest, orchards and paddocks where our friendly retired horses visit for a pat or a carrot. The Cottages are fully furnished, with all the basics for a comfy stay. One double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, small galley kitchen with bar fridge, two plate gas cooker, microwave, crockery and cutlery. A small open-plan lounge with one day bed/couch leading onto a timber deck with a small rock fire pit on the lawn. Ideal for a couple or as a budget stay for three adults or a family with one child. Please note parking is a short walk away from the Cottages, however in good weather you may unpack your car there and park it back at the parking bays.

Tents are cosy with electric light, beds, bedding, shelf, small table and two chairs, suitable for two adults only. Some tents have their own small rock braai’s, the two deeper in the forest have a communal braai near the kitchen. There is a well-equipped rustic kitchen hut with forest deck, a gas shower partly in the forest edge under the stars and a rock fire pit for an outdoor cookout.
