Marloth Park is a nature conservancy adjoining the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. There are no fences within the conservancy and it is recommended that you do not walk around after sunset as predators have been known to enter the conservancy from the adjoining Kruger National Park.

Peaceful Hide is a furnished, self-catering house situated on the main tar road close to two waterholes. The house sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms. The main upstairs bedroom is air conditioned, has an en-suite bathroom, has its own private balcony and an additional bed if needed. There is also a secure upstairs braai patio. Two of the downstairs bedrooms have air conditioners, all rooms have fans and there is an air conditioner in the main living area. The second bathroom is downstairs. Outside there is a separate braai by the splash pool with an area set aside for making a small bonfire. We provide TV with DVD player (and some DVD titles), books, a dartboard with darts and a fingerboard for entertainment. Stargazing is a must in this sparsely populated area that is not spoiled by street lighting.

Peaceful Hide is within easy walking distance of the Crocodile River. The main hide is about 1.8 km away and there is a walking trail next to the river with frequent benches for rest stops. Alternatively bring your mountain bike for a cycle through nature. Marloth Park is a beautiful area to cycle, especially along the sand roads next to the river. Marloth Park pastimes include game viewing in the park as well as across the river, bird-watching, cycling, walking, stargazing or just quietly sitting and listening to the animal noises and the lion and hippo from the Kruger Park.

A fully furnished, self-catering house which sleeps eight guests in two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom which share a bathroom downstairs, and one spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed and a single bed located upstairs. There is an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and a private balcony. Braai facilities can found on the balcony upstairs. There are fans in all of the rooms and the kitchen offers a fridge, stove and microwave. The living area offers a TV with DStv and a DVD player. There is also a splash pool on the premises.

We all had a really nice time at Peaceful Hide. It was clean, had everything we needed to cook, with room enough for everyone, no complications with keys. We took our car and felt secure to let it there when visiting Kruger with a guide.

We had a lovely time at Peaceful Hide. So close to everything. My children enjoyed it the most. We found everything that we needed and even more. The only draw back was the lounge seating was not very comfortable. We would like to thank the owners for making us feel welcome and we will visit again.
