A Complete Getaway in a Private, Peaceful Environment, far from the Madding Crowd, yet an easy drive to all amenities. Hibiscus Coast is centrally situated between Durban and Port Edward, therefore ideal for visitors who want to sightsee or for GOLFERS who wish to play golf. There is also an airport at Margate, if your wish to fly down from Johannesburg. Cars to hire are available. There are a few charter companies that fly in from Johannesburg.

Pavetta House is a sea front Duplex 50m from the beach in a 3000sq m garden with lawns and indigenous vegetation featuring abundant bird life. It offers a quiet private holiday yet is close to conveniences and entertainment. It is on an unspoilt beach of about a kilometre which stretches from Banana Beach to Melville. The one end of the bay has excellent fishing with rock pools while the other end is a popular surfing beach with shark nets, life guards and a tidal pool. This Bay is a popular sighting point for Whales and Dolphins.

There is a choice of 7 golf courses and numerous Game Reserves between Scott burgh and Port Edward - all within easy driving distance. There are also numerous shopping centres, entertainment facilities restaurants and a casino also within easy driving distance.

This is a beautiful unspoilt part of the coastline called the Hibiscus Coast with an abundance of indigenous bush and bird life. There is also the magnificent Oribi Gorge nearby. There are a variety of quaint restaurants close by, where the food is good and reasonable.

Beach: A beautiful unspoilt beach. Excellent surfing. Shark nets, safe bathing. Also a lagoon. Directly in front of the property - a favourite fishing spot, well known for shad. If there are sardines, they are at our beach, in our bay.

Pets Permitted: By prior arrangement. 1 large dog or 2 small dogs, no more. Must be under supervision and on leads while on the property.

Minimum 5 NIGHT booking Seafront Beach Cottage has one very large bedroom with its own, lounge suite and toilet and basin. This room does have a sea view as it is upstairs. It is also very private. The second bedroom downstairs has two single beds and an en-suite shower and bathroom, which is shared with the upstairs room. There is a hot and cold beach shower outside that can be used to rinse off after swimming at the beach. This unit is ideally for four people or five including kids downstairs. We do not accommodate more than 5 heads including babies. Satellite TV available, please bring your own DSTV . Maid available by prior arrangement.

Thank you very much. We had a really nice stay. The cottage is big, spacious and clean, and the garden is beautiful. We were close to the beach and could listen to the waves night and day. Florence and her husband are very friendly and helpful.
