Amazing place - location, view, hospitality and accommodation
We had a great time here. No one else except the hosts and a lot of birds were around! Very clean place, and very few bugs! Very surprising for a place that is so close to a lagoon!
The view was brilliant and the sunrise was worth waking up for! Lots of cranes, stalks, seagulls and other african birds that I dont know the names of! None of these came anywhere near the rooms, but were very close on the grass that the receding tide revealed...

The perfect place for a quiet get away!
The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Thank you. The only problem was that our stay was much to short! Well done on a wonderful establishment!

Description
Uniquely situated on the tip of 'The Point', surrounded on 3 sides by the beautiful Knysna Lagoon. Luxury accommodation in 6 rooms, all with magnificent views and private facilities. We offer braai facilities, an honesty bar, pool table, canoe and beautiful log fires in winter. Apart from mouth-watering breakfasts (our omelette's are the best in Knysna!) Water sports, lagoon cruises, forest hikes, bird watching, horse riding, fishing, golf, elephant park, oyster tasting, mountain biking, are all close by. The world’s highest bungee jump at Storm’s River (216m!) and shark cage diving at Mossel Bay are both within easy reach. Whale and dolphin watching can also be arranged. Your hosts Clive and Esther would love to welcome you to Oyster Creek Lodge.

The self-catering unit is downstairs, walking straight out into the garden to within a few metres of the lagoon at springtime. It consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed and en suite shower. The other room has an open plan kitchenette/dining area with double sleeper couch where 1 or 2 smaller children can be hosted. It has a TV, fridge, microwave, small gas stove and all the necessary crockery and cutlery.
It has its own garden furniture with braai facilities and obviously full access to the pool area. Ideal for a small young family.
NB. Breakfast is not included in the price.
Here we can even host well-behaved pets!
