Description

A spectacular private coastal reserve on 235 hectares of unspoilt landscape,bordering 3,5 kilometer of private sandy beach in a picturesque setting of dunes,woods, river deltas, beaches, wetlands, lagoons and home to free roaming horses and an extensive birdlife.

The lodge has six cozy guest rooms, an intimate restaurant with excellent cuisine, lounge and ocean viewing bar. The freestanding chalets have a private verandah with uninterrupted sea views, lounge with fireplace, underfloor heating, kitchenette and open-plan bathroom.

Enjoy a day out walking, birding, horse riding, mountain biking or a picnic. Close to scuba diving, whale watching, deep sea fishing, 4x4 trails, Tsitsikamma, Addo Elephant and Baviaanskloof Reserves. We are a recognised TGCSA 4-Star Lodge and French, German and Dutch spoken.

A relaxing place to let your soul loose. Great horses. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. We will come back. Ein erholsamer Platz die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Tolle Pferde. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Betreuung. Sehr gutes Essen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

My stay was far too short-would have loved to stay another few days! The farm is lovely and the views fantastic-so much better than staying in a guest house in town. Special compliments to the chef - the dinner was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Oyster Bay. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were overjoyed with the wonderful 5 course dinner in the evenings. Excellent value and beautifully served. Nothing was too much trouble including a special arrangement for my non-meat diet. The location is unforgettable and a perfect retreat for a few days. Do not worry about the track road that leads to the hotel.. its a jewel once you arrive.
