Outeniqua Guest Farm is situated at the foot of the Klein Omatako Mountain overlooking a wonderful scenic view of the homestead and farmlands, near Okahandja in Namibia. The Guest Farm is just 300 km from Etosha pan and 170 km from Windhoek. Outeniqua Guest Farm is situated next to the B1 road, so whether you are on the way to or from the North of Namibia, Outeniqua Guest Farm is an ideal destination for either overnighters or as a base whilst touring Namibia.
This is the perfect setting to relax, enjoy and unwind for as long as you like. We offer farm life at its best, with comfy African style en-suite guest rooms, a fully licensed bar, pool table, trampoline, and a swimming pool. Activities include bird watching, mountain climbing and hiking, and guided safari tours throughout Namibia and car rentals can also be arranged if you wish to self-tour. Enjoy sundowners on top of the nearby koppie or sample the tasty Euro Namibian cuisine in our thatched lapa.
Outeniqua Guest Farm offers accommodation in five fully furnished en-suite double rooms and a fully furnished en-suite flatlet with a kitchenette. Two of the double rooms are located in a separate bungalow with a thatched roof. Each of these rooms contains a loft area which can accommodate an extra adult or two children. The flatlet features twin three-quarter size beds and a sleeper couch in the lounge area.
Wireless Internet is provided, tea and filter coffee is available in the lapa at all times, and we also offer a laundry service free of charge to guests staying more than three nights. Farm drives can be provided for more than two guests, and other nearby attractions include the Okahandja Wood Carvers Market, dinosaur foot prints, the Waterberg, Crocodile Farm, Cheetah Foundation and Etosha Pans. Attractions on the Outeniqua Guest Farm itself include an observation tower next to the lapa, game viewing of oryx, hartebeest, kudu, springbok, warthog and other small game, bird watching, farm walks, and mountain climbing.
