Fantastic getaway to an unspoilt part of Africa,10 April 2007
Outdoor Vilanculos is set in one of the most unspoilt areas i have ever travelled to. The chalets were adequate but the location is unbeliveable. We were able to walk the 50m to the beach each morning for a swim and spend the day lazying on the beach where it was us and the local fishermen. Triery, Anna and Anthony were fantastic hosts with lost of knowlegde of the area. Meals were also fantastic. We really had a memorable stay and will be back shortly.

Description
Enjoy the easy and relaxing atmosphere in our private lodge with 6 guestrooms and a restaurant. We are situated on the unspoiled beach of the mainland, 10 km’s north of Vilanculos, right opposite Bazaruto Island.
We organize ‘Outdoor’ activities directly from the lodge: fishing -also fly fishing-, diving, snorkeling, hiking and bird watching.
The 6 rooms are divided over 3 bungalows with a private veranda and a panoramic sea-view on the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Each room has a private bathroom with a double and a single bed. In case of small children we can put an extra bed. All rooms are provided with hot water and mosquito nets.
We offer B&B, half- and full board. In the restaurant we serve local food and meals from various parts of the world. Our seafood is fresh and most of the vegetables are home grown.
The sea in front offers splendid opportunities for all kind of water sports. With our boats we can reach the Islands in 20 minutes.
The surrounding bush is great for hiking and exceptionally auspicious for bird spotters. More than 200 bird species visit the area.
We can be reached in a 4x4 vehicle in a 20 minutes drive from Vilanculos and the International Airport. Transfers are included in the prices.
As we, French-Dutch owners, operate on a small scale we can give you a maximum of attention and are able to customize our service to your wishes.
