Description

Oupa Attie's Guest House is a converted South African Railways residential dwelling dating back to the 1900's and is situated at Malanstasie alongside the main railway line from Cape Town to the North.
Regular train services pass by, including the exclusive Blue Train and Rovos Rail heading as far as Victoria Falls and Dar es Salaam.The property includes an olive grove of some 500 trees that produce olives commercially. Wine-producing vineyards surround the property, which is 7 kilometers from the historical town of Wellington.We offer four comfortable bedrooms.

Friday to Sunday - way too short. The place is awesome. It is a great place to retreat and unwind. I recommend a minimum of three nights to truly apreciate it. Our two nights was too short. We truly appreciate the special rate that Barry offered.

We had a wonderful stay. The people were very easygoing and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed. Then they left us to enjoy ourselves. It is very affordable and beautifully decorated and furnished.
