Otjiwa Lodge captures Namibia’s natural beauty, with fascinating scenery and the charm of rustic luxury. Personal care and excellent home-style cuisine will make you feel instantly at home when breakfast and dinner is served in our dining room. A cosy lounge and bar next to our romantic swimming pool, overlooking the savannah bushveld and Omboroko Mountains, add to a wonderful time of relaxation and indulgence.

The lodge offers five modern two-bed chalets, reflecting indigenous African style with amazing panoramic views. All rooms are privately situated and feature an en-suite bathroom, minibar and air-conditioning.

The Nest is a stylishly decorated and fully equipped modern house, situated privately in the bush area. This four-bedroom self-catering unit provides sleeping facilities for up to 16 guests and is ideal for a group of friends or a family. A swimming pool with barbecue area, surrounded by big trees, provides the refreshing relaxation you need after a long warm African day.

Eagles Rest features seven fully equipped self-catering units that vary from four- to six-bedroom houses. Each house is beautifully decorated in warm African style. The sleeper-decorated open-plan kitchen offers everything needed to cook up a storm, including an outside open fireplace. From your bedroom, walk out onto the open private veranda, overlooking true bushveld beauty and gorgeous sunsets.

Otjiwa campsite is situated underneath big acacia trees next to a beautiful riverbed, where the setting of the sun creates a perfect atmosphere for true relaxation. For real a African camping adventure, there is no electricity available. The large campsites, ideal for bigger groups or families, are covered with clean river sand and include a private fireplace and washing area. A well-planned ablution area with separate bathrooms for men and women is also available. There are also smaller, more private campsites, each with its own water and fireplace as well as a smaller ablution area. All the campsites can be reached by a normal vehicle.

Amidst the backdrop of beautiful gardens, Otjiwa sets the stage for a truly romantic wedding. We offer a choice of two outdoor venues for the wedding ceremony, as well as a large hall with a fully equipped kitchen for the reception. We also offer conference and team-building facilities.

Activities include game drives, trips to the vulture hotel and education facility, rhino-tracking on foot, hiking, mountain biking, catch-and-release fishing, and bird-watching.
