Osplaat is a fifth-generation working farm situated in the mountainous region of Jansenville, where the mountains are covered with spekboom, fountains and boasts an 80-foot high waterfall.

The four-bedroom farm house is not equipped with electricity and sleeps up to eight people. Traditional farm-style cooked meals are available on request, as well as a bed and breakfast option for travellers who would like to wake up on a farm after the hustle from city life. The farm is otherwise fully equipped for self-catering and parking is available. Enjoy the fireplace on winter nights and braai facilities under the stars on summer nights.

Osplaat is a working farm and activities include viewing the day's duties on a Karoo farm and taking part in activities such as feeding the horses and gathering the livestock. There are numerous farm trails suitable for quad bikes, mountain bikes, hiking and going in search of wildlife and unique plants. Partake in veld drives, horse riding and day trips to Graaff-Reinet. Soak up the lovely views that inspire photography as well as painting or writing.

Osplaat offers the old and young the chance to relax, get away from their stresses and to reconnect as a couple, a family or a group.
