Description

Uniondale is world famous for its wandering BUT friendly ghost. We named our cottage in honour of this young lady.
Uniondale is situated at the entrance of the Langkloof -a beautiful mountain valley which is the export mecca of fruit in South Africa.
Baviaanskloof (a World Heritage site) is only a short drive away. Use your time to visit a Game Farm or Fruit Packing facility. Ideal for mountain biking or drive to the Trout Farm in De Vlugt for some fishing.
The Road between Uniondale and Knysna (Prince Alfred's Pass) is an absolute must and the scenery is breathtaking, you do not need a 4x4. The pass is 70km long and takes around 1:30 hour to do.
We are looking forward to welcome you as our guest in our town and cottage.

Location: In the Town of Uniondale - walking distance from the local Country Pub and famous Square Apple Coffee shop. Safe parking and very secure area.

Historical & Cultural: The town of Uniondale have the biggest and oldest Watermill in the country - we our proud of our heritage and have many old buildings and homes restored to their original beauty.

We only stayed for one night on our way to BaviaansKloof. The cottage was sufficient for this purpose. Very neat and had everything we needed.
