Our host, Bruce was very helpful and hospitable. We will definitely stay at Orange on Rose next time we visit Cape Town.

Delightful! wonderful host, very helpful. directed us to some super restaurants around the corner, apparently some of the best in cape town and i can believe it. i will remember those tapas forever. room was clean and perfectly adequate. a little concerned re security at first but does have car guard and we were really glad to be in the thick of things in cape town as opposed to staying in outlying suburbs as we normally do. highly recommended

The facilities were great and the owner, Bruce was very helpful. He recommended some great restaurants, helped with travel plans, and was very attentive. The room/shower/breakfast were all great. The only downside is the location--it's within walking distance to downtown Cape Town, which is nice, but it is not in a safe part of the city (even the cab drivers asked why we were staying there).
