Self-catering luxury villa in Knysna, Garden Route Western Cape, South Africa. This superb holiday home on Thesen Islands is designed for relaxed, easy indoor/outdoor living with large verandah with uninterrupted view of Knysna lagoon and wetlands.

The ground floors has high ceilings, an open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen, which leads onto a verandah, and a deck with a crystal clear pool, and a superb gas braai. A staircase off the deck will lead you to our private floating jetty, where you could tie your own boat or do some fishing. Our large verandah deck is ideal for those that wish to sunbathe in privacy and lie next to the pool.

Thesen Islands offers a lot to the visitors, both young and old. There is walking, cycling, and swimming at the beaches. There are also two tennis courts, a squash court, a children's playground and a small grassed 18 hole golf putting course, all these facilities can be used by our guests.

If you do feel energetic after having explored the Thesen Islands parklands, you can stroll to Thesen Harbour Town, which has shops and restaurants, including 'ile de pain’, oyster bars, Knysna Quays Waterfront or drive to Knysna Town which is five minutes away. Thesen Islands is a private estate with a gated entrance and is surrounded by the waters of the Knysna Lagoon, offering a relaxed and naturally safe lifestyle, amongst glorious surroundings. Guests use an electronic disk for entering and exiting. Downstairs: one bedroom with king size bed , bathroom en-suite bath and shower. One bedroom with self-catering facilities, queen bed, bathroom en-suite and shower.

Upstairs: one bedroom with two single beds en-suite shower, one bedroom (The Den) with two single beds plus four bunk beds, with private shower and toilet. Linen and towels provided (bring your own beach towels). Kitchen with dishwasher, electric range, two refrigerator/freezers, electric kettle, toaster, large ice machine, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Dining room seats up to 16 people. Lounge seating for eight people. Under floor heating in lounge/dining/kitchen area. Guest WC. Private jetty (maximum boat size: 5.5m by 2.3m). Charcoal or wood, Weber braai (BBQ). One-car garage, with laundry room (washer and dryer).
