Description
The once booming railway industry was ground to a halt in Robertson a few years back and its remnants are now the setting of the On Rail 62 Train Lodge. It promises to be a completely novel experience, sleeping in comfort in a train coach that is truly historical.
The bedroom cabins are comfortable and comprise different bed arrangements, from backpackers to Double En-suites. Each unit has access to bathrooms at the end of each coach, as well as a sauna and swimming pool. Breakfast can be served for overnight stays at very good rates.
Ideal for motorbike groups, car clubs or groups of friends, the first, second or third class coaches can certainly meet your requirements of comfort and privacy. The Soprano’s Restaurant is hosted in the old goods shed and is somewhat nostalgic but warm. The welcoming atmosphere is created by the fusion of the old and the new, in retro art deco style.
There’s every reason to steer your car in this direction. It doesn’t matter if you’re two or 100, looking for quality family time or a three-day bachelor’s party – stop over and let your hair down.
