Facilities

Olyfenbosch Cottages are two charming historic cottages situated on a working wine farm at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains overlooking vineyards, with stunning views beyond. The cottages are close to mountain trails and nature reserves and activities on the farm include hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, swimming, and fishing in the dams.

Hartbeeshuis is a quaint renovated house comprising two luxury en-suite bedrooms, an open-plan lounge and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Part of this building dates back to the mid-1800s and the unit also features three verandah areas for entertainment, one with built-in barbecue facilities.

J's Cottage is a converted wine cellar. This Victorian cottage is set under oaks and comprises two bedrooms, both with inside shutters. Both bedrooms share a spacious bathroom, complete with a shower and Victorian bath.

Please note we don't have cellphone reception on the farm, you need to go 500 m down the road to get reception.

My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past weekend at Olyfenbosch and we couldn't have spent it in a nicer place. Stunning scenery and a cottage with all the amenities you might need coupled with great hosts Jenny and John - we will be back!

Wow,our (my fiance and I) stay at Olyfenbosch was the most soothing and peaceful stay ever. Jenny and John were so friendly and warm hearted. The rooms are so spacious and hygienic. The view outside reminds one of our relationship with nature. There is no doubt,that we will be going there again.

This place is a true gem. Nestled in the mountain with breathtaking views, one cannot ask for anything more. The cottage is immaculately clean, supplies are sufficient, Jenny is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was a sad moment for us when we had to leave, but we left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Thank you so much!
