Description
Olive and Lime Cottages are situated on a 10-hectare smallholding within the nature conservation area of Jacobuskraal, just one hour north of Cape Town, 7 km from the beach in Yzerfontein and 15 km from Darling. We offer two self-catering cottages, each sleeping four guests comfortably.
The upstairs bedroom leads out onto a deck and the lounge area has a sleeper couch which folds out easily to accommodate another two guests. Features include an open-plan fully equipped kitchen and a built-in barbecue on a covered verandah for relaxed entertaining. There are also ample good restaurants in the area, should guests prefer not to self cater.
The cottages are serviced and laundry can be arranged at an additional charge. There are no TVs in the cottages, only the sounds of nature. Olive and Lime is blessed with an abundance of wildlife, and bird lovers are spoilt for choice. Along with small buck, there are also a number of smaller creatures including tortoises which can be seen plodding around. For those who prefer flora, the West Coast is breathtaking in Spring with wild flowers in abundance. Wild proteas grow on the farm along with a wealth of fynbos.
