Just 180 km from Cape Town along the N7, over the spectacular Piekeneerskloof pass, is the delightful Olifantsrus Farm Guest House. Located in the picturesque Cederberg valley and dominated by a rocky outcrop of weathered sandstone, this fully licensed 3 Star, deluxe guesthouse is set in a perfumed garden, with orange blossom in the spring and guava fruit in the autumn, bringing nature into a luxurious and relaxing lifestyle, in a tranquil contemporary décor that looks out across citrus groves.

Johannes and Anyas have created a comfortable and stylish retreat where standards are high but formality is low. The spacious rooms are comfortably appointed with air-conditioning, DStv, en-suite showers, comfortable beds, a well-stocked mini bar and facilities for self-catering. Why bother when you can eat delicious and very reasonably priced food prepared by Johannes and Anyas. Each room opens onto the veranda where you can sit overlooking the garden and enjoy the view.

A great place to stay!

Third year in a row and once again we enjoyed our stay at Olifantsrus Guest House so much! Anya is the perfect host, and little Mia (her 10-month old daughter) is absolutely adorable! A well-deserved rest for us, and breakfast was superb as always. A nice breakaway to recuperate your soul. Thanks to Anya and Johannes.

We were travelling with friends and stayed there for three nights, in rooms 2 and 4. We found it to be a delightful experience. The scenery is beautiful, and the location ideal. The owner prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning, and when we asked for a recommendation for dinner, she directed us to their restaurant in the nearby town, where we enjoyed a delicious meal.

We arrived early at Olifantsrus wich was no problem at all. Our room was already available. The suroundings are stunning. The pool is so nice on a hot summers day and the people are very friendly. At night you can go out and look at the stars. I have never seen so many stars in my life, it was beautiful. We would definitely consider a stay at Olifantrus again.
