"Once again a thoroughly enjoyable couple of days were had by the three of us. We were the only visitors to the farm on this particular weekend and basically had the farm to ourselves. The workers are extremely helpful and friendly and we had a well deserved rest in the very well equipped chalets which cater for the cold weather which this part of the country has at this time of the year. The views into the Maluti Mountains are just superb and it is just too wonderful to see the sim ... more

A bit about this place
Tranquil hideaway in a mountain setting situated along the banks of the Caledon River.
This is a working farm, and we offer bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation in sandstone chalets - well equipped, all bedding and heating, kitchen utensils etc. provided.
Basic brick (4x4) houses more rustic, child friendly hot water provided by outside fire 'donkey'; and traditional Basotho rondavels - very rustic no electricity, shared ablution block and outside shower with wood fire 'donkey' providing the hot water.
We also offer 4x4 routes classed categories from 1 to 5, hiking or cycling nature trails, bird watching.
