Old House Luxury Guest House
The staff were very friendly and tried to accommodate me in any way, the room was clean and cosy and I felt right at home. The white linen and beautiful garden is a piece of heaven, breakfast was my ultimate favourite. I will recommend this establishment any time.

Exquisitely located in the heart of Beaufort-West, the Old House offers exclusivity and luxury, surrounding its guests with the warmth of Karoo hospitality and aristocratic opulence in all of its facilities. Impeccably designed the guesthouse offers serene luxury in its lounge with a fireplace and stylish en suite bedrooms equipped with impressive entertainment facilities Beyond the exclusive doors of the Old Guesthouse, lies a wonder of the world of science. Beaufort West is the centre of the world’s largest plateau outside of Asia, and is one of the world’s richest Stone Age sites. Just south of the town is the Karoo National Park offering an array of wildlife including Karoo game which includes some of South Africa’s most endangered species. A fossil trail, day walks and three-day hikes ensures and abundance of sights and activities. Beaufort-West is also home to the infamous late heart surgeon, Dr Chris Barnard. The first surgeon to perform a heart transplant is honored in three historical buildings which make up the Beaufort-West Museum. The area is also a popular destination for hunters. With its select antique furniture, warm Karoo hospitality and aristocratic luxury you can expect no less than exceptional service, friendly staff and fine food.
