Ochre House

Ochre House has just recieved a "face-lift" and is located in Bergview - an access-controlled secure estate in Central Drakensberg. The wonderfully spacious house consists of three bedrooms which can comfortably sleep six guests. The upstairs master bedroom, with antique furniture, features a Queen-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom opens out onto a lovely patio. One of the two downstairs bedrooms has two single beds while the other has a double bed. They are serviced by a second bathroom and all bedrooms have underfloor heating.

The fully equipped kitchen looks out over an open-plan lounge and dining room complete with a Jetmaster fireplace in the lounge, making for cosy evenings in front of the cottage's television with a DStv decoder. Built-in braai facilities are located out on the patio which has spectacular views of the Champagne Valley.

The peace and tranquility of the mountains are not the only reasons to visit the Drakensberg. From the cottage there is easy access to numerous walks and hikes. Within a kilometre of the cottage is the Drakensberg Sun Hotel which has swimming pools, tennis and squash courts, boating and trout fishing in the lake. Ochre House guests may utilize all of these facilities at the discretion of the hotel's management. Many other forms of entertainment are available within the valley ensuring your holiday will be full of excitement and adventure.
