Description
Situated on the R323 leading to Ladysmith, just 2 km outside Riversdale, you will find five lovingly restored cottages on a dairy farm belonging to Piet and Irené Lourens. Come and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by cows and a picturesque view of Riversdale.
Each of these refurbished cottages can accommodate up to six guests, and comprise a main bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with twin single beds, and a sleeper couch in in the living room. Each cottage has one shared bathroom equipped with a shower, and all bedroom linen is provided. Facilities include a TV, a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering with a fridge and microwave, an indoor fireplace, outdoor barbecue facilities, and a verandah overlooking the garden and farmland of Riversdale. Firewood is also available upon request.
Nearby activities include farm walks and interacting with the animals, fishing and boating at the nearby Korrentepoort Dam, hiking, 4x4 trails, quad-biking, and other sports in town such as tennis, bowls and golf. There are also a few restaurants in town if you're not keen to cook yourself.
